It's not a cartoon, and it's not for kids. I don't even like the whole "Believe it!" thing, but he says it because Naruto grew up with the world against him. All odds were also against him so when he says he's going to do something, it's usually something that would be impossible for someone who grew up like he did - like become Hokage. Believe it! Specific episode? Well, my favorite "believe it" was when Sasuke was saying to Naruto in an obviously MOCKING voice "There ARE other ninja here...believe it!" Ha, Sasuke saying it was hilarious

Please don't be so rude.

First, this is the English dub we're talking about. It sucks. Before you criticize it, watch the Japanese version. Even that, however, is not better than the manga. The dubbers destroyed Naruto, like with almost any other series coming from Japan.

Second, Naruto was meant for teenagers around 13-15, but again, the dubbers destroyed it and made it more appealing to little kids.

Third, they did a horrible job on the voices. Horrible. They're supposed to be twelve years old, but Naruto sounds like he's 8, Sakura sounds like a prep, and Sasuke sounds like he's 18.

Please don't insult something you don't know much about - it's rude and disrespectful and can be quite offensive to anime fans like myself.

By the way... GI Joe? Transformers? Both of those are more for little kids than Naruto. And they're not much of cartoons either - the characters aren't well developed, and the storyline is nearly non-existent.

Naruto is originally from Japan.

When Naruto was being translated to English/whatever language, it's not surprising if the translator wants to make script changes, add a silly catch phrase, and edit the show however they want. A few scenes from Naruto were cut from the English version.

Edit in response: Ah, but in the English version, they slapped a "PG-14" rating at the right-hand corner. In Japan, Naruto is rated PG.

Does it remember if he loves his bio youngsters better than you if he loves you, treats you as in case you've been his flesh and blood, makes sensible you're provided for, wiped your tears, keeps an emergency stash of tampons in his motor vehicle because of you, cheers you on at your activities, or perhaps fantasizes about strolling you down the aisle some day? do not enable what your pal suggested concern you. Your dad loves you. He shows you he loves you by his words and his movements. it really is what's substantial. do not enable your pal attempt to take that far flung from you or your dad. i'm a step-mom. yet I got here into the girls' lives even as they were 13 - 18 years previous and we did not get married till the girls 16 - 22. the girls will love their bio mom better than they love me. and that is okay. because they love me too and manage me properly. i do no longer have bio-children, so i do not comprehend if i'd love them better than love the girls. What i comprehend is that I call them my bonus daughters (because an advantage is something better and particular) and that i manage them as if they were my personal daughters and that i respect them very a lot.

Naruto says "Believe it" all the time because it is an ENGLISH DUB, and dubs are retarded. In the Japanese version, he says "dattebayo," which is a nonsense phrase. Since he says it all the time, they had to pick a phrase that would meet the mouth movements and "Believe it" just happened to fit. Stop being a dumbass and watch the original version before you start criticizing one of the most popular manga/anime in Japan.

I LOVE anime, but I can't stand Naruto (Ok, I'll watch it if I have to, or if their playing it at anime club, or if there's NOTHING to do). Don't know why kids like it. Well, it's not TOO bad......I admit it's funny and it has some good action and animation, but for some reason that I can't answer (I don't even know why), I HATE Sasuke!!! But It's an ok show, It's just not on my favorites list. Every single girl at the anime club loves it! Maybe I'll ask them...

I never saw that show but I hate it anyways. Everyone in my school talks about it. I dont even know why they made it. My friend "tried" showing me an episode but I asked if we can go outside instead.
