I was in a small airplane with my dad as the pilot. We were about five miles from the airport we had taken off from when the engine died. I sat silently, and in absolute terror, as I watched my dad flipping all kinds of switches. What I didn't know was that we had enough power to glide back to the airport - and the engine restarted. I've never felt so helpless, and filled with so much absolute fright in my life. It turned about to be a blockage in the fuel line which Dad cleared and we resumed our flight - and I watched for places to land for the rest of the trip.

I was really not doing well, and I became convinced that I should kill myself. The scariest moment I had was when I realized I had a plan and really wanted to go through with it. Luckily, I had people I could trust and they helped me get help. I'm so glad that I didn't do it!
