Outlook is simply an email client for use with an existing email account. In a corporation, you would be given an email account and the Outlook application would be configured to access that particular email account.

You can use Outlook to access free email accounts such as Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail. Read the help information if you are using one of these email providers. Otherwise, if you are using an email address from your ISP (e.g. RoadRunner, COX or AOL), refer to their help information for setting up your email account in Outlook.

You dont 'get an outlook email address'.

You get an email address somewhere and then just look at emails from outlook.

Umm.. google's gmail supports this... mail.google.com and nerdshack does too..

however HOTMAIL does NOT.....

it has to have a specific feature.. but i dont remember what it's called right now... x_x

you're better off just doing email from a web browser.. it's much safer.. less viruses and stuff.
