Fear is taught. Someone should stop teaching her to fear chocolate people because fear leads to hate and diminished life potential. And, chocolate deprivation.

If by ''Chocolate People' you mean black people....
I would use her favorite toys or foods as analogies. Toys are different shapes, sizes, and colors. But they are all toys. Foods may come in different flavors, but chocolate is not to be feared just because it is not butter.
However, there may be a deeper meaning here. You may want to gently ask her exactly why she is bothered by 'chocolate people' to make sure there isn't anything upsetting going on (at day care, school, church, etc).
How this helps.

If you are referring you black people, then you can't be the one to reassure her. The first step is to not call black people or African-American people, chocolate. Im not sure if you know it or not, but there are black people almost the same color as white people. It is 2006 and almost 2007, like I said you are not teaching her right first of all by calling black people "chocolate". Thanks, I hope that may have help. Im sure you may have figure I am a african-american lady. Honestly speaking sweetie, you saying the word chocolate", is just as bad as calling them a "n***a". Thats just my opinion.

By "Chocolate people" I am assuming you mean only black people. Is there is a reason why she is scared of them? She probably watches the news, reads the paper and sees footage of people being killed, robbed, and so on.She now thinks that all black people are bad. You need to tell her that not everyone is bad. Maybe you know a nice "chocolate person" who you can let her meet and talk with so that she can see that she does not need to be afraid of everyone. Don't give her a false sense of safety though. Tell her she needs to be cautious of her surroundings no matter who is around.Skin color is just that, it's the color of skin it is not the person.

what about butterscotch people? Caramel people? Is she scared of then too? There are many shades of "chocolate" people. For one, you can educate her and yourself on the fact that we are not called chocolate people.BUT, before you do this...sit her down and give her some chocolate. I am sure she loves it. Have her tell you all the things she likes about chocolate, and then relate those things to "chocolate" people.

Um..
well
you could possibly cut a bar of chocolate into the shape of a person.. or make a chocoalte cake in the shape of a person.. you can even decorate it with eyes and hair and whatnot if you'd like.. but..
you could teach her the 'chocolate people' are harmless..and if she ever feels afraid or whatever.. she knows she can just EAT the chocolate people....
however, i have no idea where she got the idea of chocolate people though..........

I am asuming you mean pieces of chocolate shaped like people, if so maybe its not a bad thing, chocolate is not the best thing to be feeding your kids and with her having a fear maybe she will eat more healthy foods
