I dig worms for my big bird (don't tell me about parasites please, he is fine after 20 months of this) and sometimes I get a dark greenish worm. Maybe 10 percont of the worms. What causes this?

Radiation from thousands of nuclear bomb tests. If you wait until night the green ones will glow. Or maybe they're just different colors like black people and white people.

google it, cause most garden worms and earthworms are a shade of brown. Green worms are usually some sort of caterpillar, slug, or some form of larvae.
