Depends on the title, most Governments legislate so they own all mineral rights, some like the Federal Government in Australia legislate native indiginous people have rights over their lands but others don't. Some legislate that people can take out exploration rights over your land without you even knowing about it.
Best check with your State and Federal Governments Lands office.

Technically yes but way back when if a company paid original owners/city rights they own the right to place down pipes, etc. You also own up into space, but if airspace is there, again original owners of the property when an airport was built were paid once to use the "space".

No. Mining rights are usually the government's. Same deal with airspace above the land.

Why? You think you might find some Dragon treasure under your property? Sorry. Dragon's treasure is hidden much better than that.
Dragon isn't sure. She thinks the property only extends down a few meters.

I do beleive so. So if someone drills through the earth sideways they can get under our land and we can sue them for tresspassing. Everyone's so sue happy these days. A kid can't even fall and break his arm in your own treehouse without suing you nowadays. Lamo.

My vote is with Blunt Honesty. If you own the mineral rights as well as the surface rights, it's all yours.

Well, if there is oil on the land, they have the oil rights, no matter how far down the oil is.
