without media, most people would have NO information about politics. I'm not pro or con on the "media", just pointing out that TV, internet, newspapers, radio are all media and there really is no other way we get information. The important thing is to recognize that no one is completely unbiased and therefore there is an element of "spin" in everything that is reported.

It depends who you are and where you stand. I don't think, for example, that a Republican watching the Daily Show with Jon Stewart will agree with his views on most things, nor do i think he will convert anyone from the GOP to his side. Conversely, it is also unlikely that a staunch Democrat will see eye to eye on anything Bush sycophants Fox News has to say.

I think through manipulation and selective subjects and slanted polls, they shape the average Americans view of politics. I would rather listen to CBN and a few radio shows and listen to my conscience .

The media should publish the facts and it is up to us to develop our own opinions.

That doesn't happen, and both are to blame. Media has an agenda, and people are lazy.

media will shape our opinion as it seeks to "inform" us of the "facts" , because no matter how"unbias" they claim to be, this is not so.we are alway influenced by what we see and hear..
