im engaged in a long distance relationship.. 8000miles apart..

Wow. That is one third the way around the planet. I think.If you are serious one of these days you two will have to get together. If that is a possibility then moving might be your best bet. Of course you could always ask her to move in with you.

The thing about long distance relationships is that one part of it cannot be permanent. Either the distance or the relationship will have to be eliminated. So if you want it to work then eventually you will have to find a way that one of you will be able to get to where the other is. Get a good long distance plan for the time being, write letters, and if you have IMing then use it.

Secrets are bad and you two have to be able to trust each other completely. I can sympathize to a degree, though you most definitely have it worse, my girlfriend lives about five hundred miles away and it's already tough. She's on just about the other side of the world so I'd start saving up for a plane ticket. Maybe go see her on holidays or whenever work and money permit.
