So called "hot blooded murder" is when you murder someone while you are temporarily in a rage or some other overwhelming emotion and allegedly are no longer in control of yourself. So if you watch someone kill your child and then you manage to get their gun and shoot them, that is "hot blooded." Same if you catch your spouse cheating with someone else and shoot one of them.

"Cold blooded" is when you kill someone without feeling any emotions at all. Supposedly this is a lot worse and carries heavier penalties.

Hot blooded murder is a crime of passion, and according to
French law only occurs once and if you can prove it was
a crime of passion you are set free. That's in the French courts.

Cold Blooded murder is premeditated or on the spur of the moment
and there is no remorse

Thank you very much, while you're up.

I think that a hot blood murder would be more of a mess because the killer did not have time to think it through while a cold blooded murder would be more planed out.

Hot-blooded refers to a crime of passion...in the heat of a moment, one person does something without thinking about it...like when a wife walks in on her husband, who is in bed with the maid, and the wife shoots and kills one or both of them.

Cold blooded means the person/s planned the murder well in advance, and can refer to the devious ways and lengths that person goes to kill someone else.

In court, it is typical that a "hot blooded" murderer will get a lesser sentence - life, instead of the death penalty.

"Cold-blooded" implies that the person has no heart - no remorse for their action or for the people they have hurt. And I guess a "warm-blooded" person would feel bad for what they have done.

HOT BLOODED WOULD BE LIKE CATCHING YOUR WOMAN IN BED WITH THE NEXT GUY AND KILLING HER ON THE SPOT.

COLD BLOODED WOULD BE HUNTING THE GUY DOWN THAT WAS IN BED WITH HER. THEN PLOTTING AND SLAYING HIM LIKE A DOG.

SOUND ABOUT RIGHT.
