im doing a sci. fair project. its "the effects of household items on a fire" but i cant find anything. HELP!

i need to write a backround research report on my topic but i cannot find ANY information. If you know anything about this topic or someplace where i can find info please tell me. it will be greatly appreciated.

Look on all the warning tags on the back labels on all the stuff you are working with. It will either have all the info you need, or a website of the company or a phone number to call, you should be able to find it their. Go ahead. Start by reading anything on the item that says Warning or Caution.

Hi,
Draperies, carpets and some furniture is foam backed which release toxic fumes when ignited. Household cleaners in aerosol cans explode when heated and may give off toxic fumes, check on the packages for warnings or try the International Firefighters website for more info...let me know if you need any other help......

Set things on fire and throw different household items on them. Start with the dining table and throw the propane tank on it.

Start with a furniture store. Ask them about fire retardant materials in the things they sell.

i dont know of a site but you can use baking soda, flour, salt to put out a fire....do NOT use water if it is a grease fire and never use towels to fan flames this only spreads it worse...anything that snuffs it out or suffocates it...that is, takes away oxygen
