I had to raise money for a few different charities this year and last year, so hopefully, some of these suggestions work:
- have a garage or yard sale and make sure the signs you post say the proceeds are for your daughter's school. People will spend more.
- ask your local storesif they will allow you to put up donor jars. Most are open to this is they don't have some already. Make sure you put a picture of your child on the jar and a nice desciption of how she got to go to this school, etc...
- bake cookies with a theme and sell them for a dollar each. People love big cookies in decorative wrappers. You can get celophane baggies in different colors from you local craft store. Tie them closed with a ribon with her school colors. Ask your local retailers, grocers or bakeries if they will allow you to put a tray out once a week.
- get an item of value donated and auction it off on-line at ebay or amazon
- have a few 50/50 raffles. you can purchase rolls of raffle tics from any party supply. Sell the tics for $1-5 dollars. People will almost always but tickets if they have a chance to win much more money back.
- ask your local grocer if you could sell fundraising candy outside the door of their estavlishment. The Cub Scouts have been doing this for years and they raise all kinds of money.
-have a car wash! I don't know how old your daughter is, but in the summer she and her friends could raise all kinds of $. Don't set a price for the wash, let people give what they want to donate. They will give you more this way.
I hope these are helpful. Good luck!

Is the $3,000 just for your daughter to go to ballet school?
I suggest getting a part-time job and putting away the extra money. You probably won't raise $3,000 in just a few months- especially with a minimum wage job.
Have you checked the school for financial aid? Loans?
Other than that, you may have to get creative with fund raising- selling candy, car washes, yard sales, etc. Maybe you can get the family involved.
Good luck.

Talk to her and make sure she understands the commitment she's making. If she really wants to do it and you can afford the financial and time commitment with the baby on the way, then I say go for it. The twins are individuals like any other sibling. Someday you can make a similar gift to the other twin or maybe she won't ever have one big dream. If your girl is up for it, I feel you have to let her go as far as she can with it. If it was my daughter, I would make her stick with it for three years -- until age 11 -- to really see how she can develop and grow at the school and to possibly get through some tough times with dance. If after that long she really wants to quit dance forever, at least she'll know and have had some unforgettable experiences.

a lot of businesses offer fundraising options
like if you hand out fliers about the fundraiser promoting their business and you get a bunch of people to come, they will give you a percentage of their profits, we got a couple hundred for one once...if you get a lot of people it can be pretty beneficial!
good luck!
