I'm having major cramps and bloating. I know its my period, and that it rears its ugly head each month. But what are some things I can do to kind of make it better? No pills since i don't have any.

Exercise is good for the bloat and cramps. Also watch what you eat and try not to pick. Walking is also a great way to get rid of the cramps and bloat. Staying active is important. It helps believe me, I do it all the time. An ugly time for us all but moving does help. Good luck!!!

I've heard eating bananas helps. A heating pad applied to my stomach makes the cramps hurt less. I'd recommend avoiding salty foods and chocolate, as they will make the bloating worse.

Cucumbers are a natural diuretic and will help with water weight gain and a heating pad or hot water bottle helps my cramps. Aleve and a heating pad works best though. I hope you feel better. Also exercise seems to help me with cramps but I have to change more as I bleed heavier.

I don't know if this works, because I never had the problem, but a friend of mine once said that doing some leg raises and sit-ups helped her cramps.

put a heat pad on the cramping area or fill a sock with rice and microwave it, that works as a heat pad. try moving your legs like shaking them like the kids with add do it keeps your mind off the cramps

try taking a warm bath and exercising if u aren't up to exercising stretch and don't eat too much salt and drink tea
