You will lose...I'd just pay the fine. They probably wrote the ticket for exhibition of speed because they didn't clock you with radar but did witness something....It will be your word against theirs...

If you got caught speeding, be a man and face the penalty. As was said before, "Do the crime, pay the time". Maybe next time you'll slow down a little. You make the rest of us look bad.

How do you know there are holes? You haven't talked to a lawyer yet. Is someone telling you this. Don't piss off the judge.

Besides, a lawyer will cost as much as your ticket anyway.

Knowing where you are is the key.

You need a lawyer that specializes in motor vehicle/motorcycle cases and one way to find one is the yellow pages. Their ad will tell you their specialty.

As was said, a good lawyer is an oxymoron. A lawyer who can manipulate the system is not.

particular. maximum states or jurisdictions have comparable rules, regardless of they could call it. My final branch known because it a contravention of the noise ordinance, which meant that it confirmed up as "different" on your checklist (which might recommend no factors) however the effective went directly to city, no longer the state, as all different fines do right here. In California, Exhibition of speed is a contravention of 23109(i), and is punishable via a great of no extra desirable than $500.00, and no extra desirable than ninety days in penal complex. it quite is listed decrease than the motorized motor vehicle code, yet could desire to nicely be a criminal offense. In my state, DWI/DUI is a criminal offense, because of the fact it contains needed penal complex time. this could additionally be actual of CA. If he does not look, they're going to probable get a warrant, and it will become a good larger deal than it already is. thinking the potential of penal complex time, i might no less than communicate with an legal expert. they could ultimate recommend you regardless of if he has a prayer of being chanced on no longer to blame or the different circumstances that would make a legal expert needed. in any different case, it may desire to purely be dropping money.

Check for a state or Local ABATE group. they will have a lawyer or two who specializes in cycles. you may have to fork over a membership fee, but it is for a good cause. I will tell you that any time I was actually caught by cops I had to pay- so maybe wasting the cash on a lawyer would be better put to use paying up for a plea deal.

If you were speeding and got caught - your bad. Pay the fine. That's the price you pay for scoffing at the laws. Do the crime, do the time.

As to an attorney, look in the phonebook or ask around the court.

Maybe you have bad luck with the court system because they don't care for people who always try to evade responsibility for their actions.

Any moving violation is a 'criminal offense'

"Good lawyer" is an oxymoron, isn't it? Where are you? Call around or ask your friends if they know someone.

I wish you well.
