When my kids got to be in the late teens we started having our Christmas Eve Dinner and then presents, once my son married it was much easier because her family did Christmas Day. Also the teens appreciated sleeping in on the Holiday, and I enjoyed it myself....

For good luck we open one present each on Christmas Eve but then the rest all get opened on Christmas Day.
