I need something for a story I'm writing about a goddess of wind who uses a certain weapon that would compliment her power but i can think of any thing and I'm trying to stay away from the whole fan thing and the sword is taken. Any ideas?

How about a powerful spear?

A long staff which she spins rapidly to generate wind.

When she stops she holds the staff pointedly at someone(thing) and the gust she just generated by spinning the staff is directed.

She could kind of pose with her left knee bent forward and her right leg straight behind her.

good luck!
