i heard of a superstition where you crack an egg and the insides are red.anyone know what it is?

in dreams eggs symbolise fertility, broken eggs symbolise fights. Don't know about blood spots though.

sometimes when you open an egg, there can be a blood spot; this doesn't happen so much any more since most eggs comes from facitlities which don't allow roosters contact with the hens and eggs, but basically an egg with a blood spot is a fertilised egg. I'm not sure what superstitions surround this though. When I was a teenager, i lived in a foster home with orthodox jews and they could not eat an egg with a blood spot; it had to be thrown away, because the egg was fertilised it was a chicken and was not prayed over by a rabbi, therefore not kosher. other homes i lived in, people just threw away the blood spot and used the rest of the egg. I would use it rather than waste it, but I haven't seen a blood spot for years; would hav to be organic eggs.

There are none , And what few that do exist were created totally by man...
Because of their lack of understanding as to why that incident happen.
