Nolan Ryan, who pitched in the majors in 27 different seasons (1966, 1968-93). Cap Anson also played for 27 years (1871-97), though he isn't considered the leader because the first 5 years of his career (1871-75) he pitched in the National Association and the N.A. isn't considered an official major league. (Though he should get some credit because there weren't any major leagues before 1876.)
