In schools, people look all the same. The jocks dress identical. The goths dress identical. The preps dress identical. The "ganstas" (their words, not mine) definitely dress identical. Everyone in between also looks the same.
There is absolutely no variety, no creativity, no risk-taking.
In a nutshell, it's boring.

It probably depends where you live. In NYC, it's always about black so I'd say edgy is the trend. Skulls are still in but give it a few more months and they will be out, out, out. Girly dressing is also in - great when paired with something masculine i.e. a frilly shirt with a men's vest.
I agree though - there is a lack of individuality out there right now but it's hard to be an individual unless you make your own clothes or really mix and match to ensure no one else copies your look.

Designers aren't following any specific trend right now.
So there's a lot of diversity in apparel.
Some people are buying expensive designer wear because
not everyone can afford it and it can't be found everywhere.

fairly? i admire H&M. yet a number of the traits those days are form of ridiculous. i won't be able to help thinking the completed element with scarves is kinda cheesy... i admire how some females think of they at once lead them to look elegant at the same time as they're spouting out grimy jokes and cuss words at one yet another. :P i attempted donning a headband to college as quickly as yet I felt like a jackass after an hour so I took it off.

it's was the 80's style but now there is more 60's and 70's feel.
Like flats, leggings, oversizes shirts, mini dresses/sweaters. It's a retro, mod look,etc.

sheep!! everyone follows the same thing wen did we lose our originality!!!!! but i betta get off frm my soap boz coz i own k swiss ,a jumper dress ,bench jacket etc so i am just the same but if i didn't i wud be called weird !!
