You can schedule your classes throughout the day, evening, and on weekends, depending on availability. You don't usually go for 9 hours straight, so the answer is No.

for about two years of college i didnt have a class before noon and only had real classes tuesday, wednesday and thursday. about 4-6 hrs of class a day, labs are usually 3-4 hrs long.
but since I teach now, my classes are 6-10pm T, Thursday nights

Majority of college classes aren't 9 hrs long some can be 4hrs long but nothing that extreme. You can schedule your classes to your specific liking.
