Most citrus plants such as oranges and limes flower year-round in your sunny windows!

My mother has had a tropical hibiscus in bloom for 1 1/2 years now in her sunny living room window. Geraniums will do it too. It takes a lot of sun but shouldn't have forced air (hot or cold) blowing directly on them. For color but not blooms, try a rex begonia.

African Violets flower year round. As soon as one group or flowers die you pinch them off a new set grows really quick. Put the plants near good light but not hot direct sunlight. they even do well in artificial light.
