You don't disable your firewall, you instruct it to allow the webcam to access the net. Norton must have that facility, try the company for tech support since you have paid them for their software; and look through the help menu.

You'll need to open a port. I'm not totally sure that Norton has this capability throught the GUI. I assume that you are attempting to use this webcam with an IM client (MSN, AIM, YIM). Check out the site I put below. That should help.

You need to find what port the cam uses and open that partiular port on the firewall - you may be able to tell the firewall to allow the device or the application through
