Let him get a real job, instead of sitting in front of the computer, spamming others in forums and websites.
Let him interact and learn socially through work and how hard it is for an adult to deal to pay for bills and put shelter for the family, etc.
Local malls are the best for high schoolers. Let him get flexible hours so it wont interfere with school. And he can have some pocket change to spend and save up for later.
