Visas and Entrance / Departure Fees
Depending on where you are going, yes, bribes
Travel Insurance if you want it
Transportation (plane fare, rental car fees, trans. to the airport, within your destination)
Lodging (including tips for maids, service personnel, and concierge for services rendered if applicable)
Meals
Shopping
Nightlife (cover charges, bar tabs, etc...)
Culture (Museum entrance fees, etc...)
Incidentals (baggage overweight fee, sending back purchases, I'm late for the plane and gotta catch a cab type situations, etc...)

That pretty much covers what I budget for. If you have any specific interests, you may want to tailor accordingly...

everything you normally need to consider, plus different transportation costs. Also your Credit card or bank company will charge you extra, most of the time. And be careful about the locals, people are much less afraid of taking money out of your hands and taking off. pickpockets are a bigger problem in other countries.

besides all that (and the high cost of food where i went)
you need to consider that everything in front of you will be a
"once in a lifetime opportunity" so i made different choices
to spend money. ie a food that isn't available here or an experience you just can't get here.
