The Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court is John Roberts. There is no Chief Justice of the judicial branch, per se. Each individual federal and state court with more then one judge has a chief judge that oversees administrative issues relating to the court.

Your question is vague.
The Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, who is also the administrative head of the federal court system, is John Roberts. He took over last term after long time Chief Justice Wm. Rehnquist died.

State Supreme Courts have Chief Justices, too (except for N.Y. who has a chief judge of the Court of Appeals, the state's highest court). They would often be the head of the judicial branch in that state.

Finally, most state/county/local courts have chief judges, too. They are the head of that particular local court.

Chief Justice Roberts is the Chief Justice of the United States. If you are looking for state information, look at your state's website.
