Yep! And I know you are going to say how do I know, right? Because when one falls in the forest when someone is there it makes a sound so why wouldn't it if no one was there?

It depends on your definition of sound. Sound can be defined either as referring to vibrations transmitted through an elastic solid or a liquid or gas, with frequencies in the approximate range of 20 to 20,000 hertz or as the sensation stimulated in the organs of hearing by such vibrations in the air or other medium. Using the former definition, we have instrumentation available to us to determine that the vibrations are in fact transmitted through the air reguardless of the presence of anyone to hear them. Using the latter definition, however, the sensation in the hearing organs cannot be present if no one (including animals or any other species with auditory ability) is within hearing range.

Yes of course. It probably just wouldn't matter to anyone 'cause it's in some forest in the middle of nowhere and is too far away to get to anyone.

There is always something to hear it fall. Humans are not the only things with the ability to hear.

What makes you so sure that the tree fell? It could have been knocked down. Then whatever knocked it down might have heard it. Many creatures have hearing.

Actually, if no one is around, the trees pick themselves up, brush themselves off, and replant themselves... they just don't want us to see this!
