Firstly it depends on whether you are a natural redhead or a coloured red head - the shade of red can vary from mousy auburn to deep blood red and different colours will suit.
Also, the colour of your skin, your eyes and even your personality will be reflected through the clothes you wear. You could very easily wear red from top to bottom if your personality would be comfortable with it.
Redheads (natural) run in my family and they have worn anything from green, red, blue, yellow to purple, orange, pink and white.
It's all down to personal taste and not down to the colour of your hair.
However, if you want to understate things, not make yourself stand out, feel overdressed, or empowered by your clothes, wear chocolate colours, and olive greens - but then if you have a new wardrobe why wouldn't you want do show it off ?
Hope this helps a little.

Redheads are mostly "warm" colored people, so I would recommend fall colors. Try to stay away from yellow and even some peaches because they tend to swallow one. There are some pinks that look good too but stay away from the bright ones! As for "Julia" she must have a personal problem with a redhead so I would disregard her remark! There are a lot of famous redheaded women who are stunning! Maureen O'Hara, Reba, Lucy i.e. Then there are the ones who are not famous and are stunning!

vegetables are a cool coloration for redheads and there are alot of them approximately in style on the 2d. yet any formidable, shiny colorings would healthful. Dont decide for mild pastel colorings as redheads tend to have mild pores and skin and could regarded washed out. I merely offered a appealing bottle eco-friendly gown for my redhead acquaintances birthday and it appears that evidently wonderful on her - very dramatic and stylish! desire that facilitates x

dark blues and yellow greens look very good on redheads. burgundy isn't such a good idea though, but it does depend on the exact shade of your hair. it's pretty much up to you.

Green & blues. Just have to be careful with reds and oranges but some shades are ok. Lilacs can make you look a bit wishywashy.
