I was nine and my mother was drunk and being mean. I said mamma, what do you think Santa will bring me and she said, Santa isn't even real, it's about time you figure that out! It felt like the magic of Christmas died inside me! I felt so sure he was real. So all I can do is help the magic of Christmas live inside my children as long as their innocence will allow them to believe! Happy Holidays.

I think I found out when I was 5, by shire luck, I found the toy I was supposed to get but I hadn't told my parents. What's sad is that every Christmas I ever had I fell asleep and hoped to find the real Santa Clause next to the tree. I refused to believe that Santa Clause wasn't real and I still do because he is the incarnation of the spirit of Christmas, and that's something no one will ever take from me. Believing in something that powerful helped me a lot becoming the man I am today, so the spirit of Santa Clause gave me a present that no amount of money in the world could have bought.

I caught my mom one Christmas wrapping all my Santa gifts and sort of figured it out. But... I didn't say anything to her for fear of not receiving Santa presents in the future.

LOL.
I actually don't remember when I found out. I think I was around 8 or so. I don't think I cared either way. I don't remember being upset.

8 or 9, I was in shock and I tried to act like I hadn't seen anything but instead I started crying and I was so mad at my dad for lying to me about something I thought was so important, because I tried to be "a good girl" all year long so that when baby Jesus (I thought Santa just helped him, I'm Catholic) came to my house he would be my friend and I thought those gifts came from heaven! imagine my deception!!!

i found out when i was 5. I caught my mother and older sisters fixing my doll house. They said santa couldn't but it together because he had to go to so many other houses but i knew the deal - lol.
