You need to check with them, after a certain point you will still get an F.

It IS too late in the semester to withdraw from the classes you are failing. Withdrawl dates are usually only two weeks after the beginning of the semester, sometimes sooner. Seems as though you will have to take the F's in your classes this time and remember to withdraw sooner next time. You may even be able to get some money back if you quit before your community college deadline. Better luck and study habits next time.

Well depending on which College you go to there is a deadline that you can drop classes. I believe if only two weeks left till your final exams you have passed the deadline. If you have a good reason with a good doctors note attached to it then you can talk to you colleges registration office and they might let you drop your courses. Hope this helps good luck

Contact your registrar's office. Usually, two weeks before the end of semester is too late, but they may give you a W.

i got out of one class one week before finals I had to submit a form to my dean's office, and than my college's office (college of engineering), had to write a letter explaining why, and a formal written documentation from someone important. I got a WF or something.

It depends on your school's policy regarding how it will impact your transcript... Generally, there is a period where you can withdraw without any impact, another period of time where a W will appear on your transcript, and another period after that where you will fail.

It will still be recorded as withdrew failing on you transcripts. Best to knuckle down & try to salvage what you can.
