First, it is impossible to agree with a side on every issue. Also it's impossible to disagree with everything the other side say's. Both of these guys distort the truth to fit their political agenda. I will agree that they can be entertaining, but how can some of you listen to what they say and think you’re getting the whole story. I listen to both sometimes (again I consider them entertainers) and I've heard several people quote them almost word for word as what they say is fact. So raise you hand if you one of these people that believe everything these guys tell you is the truth.

Al Franken thinks for himself, checks facts, and is sometimes funny.

easily i'm a conservative and function on no account had any use for Rush and Franken is basically the comparable element from the different area. confident the two are idiots yet then Rush is an entertainer and Franken could easily be helping Re Pelosi run the country so he concerns me greater. you could turn the radio off or substitute the channel yet you could no longer do any element approximately expenditures or rules that are surpassed by Congress.

Of course they are. Nobody in politics these days understands the concepts of moderation and independence, except for maybe Michael Savage, but he's said some pretty messed up stuff before so his record is by no means clean.

For the most part, yes. The difference is that Franken is an ideologue who believes in his stated positions. Limbaugh, by his own admission, is a propagandist who will present the party line regardless of his own beliefs.

I would agree that two opposing sides of any argument would slant any dialogue in their favor. However, Franken has told a lot more whoppers than Rush. Al should go back to comedy. He's not great at it but its better than his talk radio shows.

They are both intelligent men.

But Rush bothers to do his homework. Franken is as wrong as often as he is right because he gets so caught up in his anti-Bush vitriol that he can't separate fact from rant.

If the facts don't support Rush's point of view he'll ignore the topic. If the facts don't support Franken's point of view, he'll ignore the facts and preach his theory as fact.

I know that Rush is not lying to me because I do my own research on the issues.
plus you don't listen to Rush enough, by your own admission, to tell that he is not a yes man for the Republican party, if you would listen to him more you could tell that he is THE yes man for the conservative Agenda and he knows that the democrats are not going to advance his agenda so he supports the party that is most likely to, though it not always does.

Well we know Limbaugh is.. He admitted it the very next day after the drubbing and massacre the Reps suffered. He just cannot be trusted.

Parties schmarties.

Parties are almost insignificant.

Rush is a Conserative. (As am I.) We talk about Conserative ideas. Liberals are anti-Conserative. So who do you think Rush most identifies with: Liberals (Democrats) or Conseratives (Republicans)?

And nobody cares about Franken. (See the ratings.)
