Yeah they should. From an African American point of view, he was kinda right because years ago u we could not insult a white man without getting in trouble for it. But it's not that way anymore because now people have a better sense of culture. He had no right to make those comments though. That was uncalled for. They should make him pay more than that. U cant say something like that and just apologize and believe thats the end to it.

No. I don't believe he forced to "DONATE" anything to charity. If he's not doing it from free will what good is the donation? The point is that he said he said. He can't change that. He just needs to make sure he doesn't do that in front of the wrong people because there are people that might have gotten violent. I don't want him to get hurt or anything like that. The people that laughed when he first went there are the ones to blame because he was feeding (as stupid as it seems) off their giggles and laughter and took a joke from borderline offensive to totally offensive.

They can't force him to do that. If he wants to, it would be sort of like a Good will gesture. But the man has already apologized so let it go. However, I doubt if his career will make a comeback behind this all. Yes the statements were made in anger but he took them too far. If he had just said "Shut up N....." With out the er" That may have got him a laugh. But he elaborated it on the statement with the part about hanging from trees. He really didn't have to go there.

well they want him to come on stage and apologize again. Then to pay a half a million for everytime he uses the N word. Not only "Kramer" but all comedians using it on The Laugh Factory. That includes Blacks as well. I dont think they should have to pay for using it. Its just a word that people need to get over. If we stop using the N word, then what about the other words and cursing and calling women B*tches. Thats not cool, so once they stop all of them, then keep using the N word.

No way. That is absolutely ridiculous. The Laugh Factory should be ashamed of themselves for asking him to pay any money at all. He has the right to say what he wants. If The Laugh Factory is really that upset by what he said, they have the right to not invite him back. But that is the only action they have any right to take against him.

that is a bit much because no matter how much money he pays he will still be a racist idiot in my book. no dollar amount can cover up the fact about what you think of black people, a.k.a. in Richard's language--N*******. So in other words no, it isn't nothing he can do so paying out money isn't going to make me feel any less of him, he is what he is, and paying for a mistake is ridiculous, and those hecklers and the comedy club needs to calm down with those numbers because that is ridiculous...

No, this won't solve anything. I think we should stop giving Richards publicity for doing something hateful. If they are going to ban the N word onstage, I hope they ban everyone from saying it, even black people. It's an ugly word and no one should be using it.

I think that he should be fined 1mill and banned from preforming there. The news should keep him from getting a job anyway. He should go broke pretty soon because of that incident and that is probably the worst punishment.
