O.K. depending on your time limit here ya go:1st pick up everything that is out of place, put in basket and set to side.
Kitchen:wipe off counters, stove front of appliances, and clean out sink
Bathrooms:spray shower, sinks, and t-bowl w/ cleaners, wipe mirrors the counters, scrub sinks then tub swish toilet out then wipe t-bowl starting @top working to bottom
Bedrooms:make beds swiffer dust
Rest of home:dust, windex, vac then mop And don't forget the basket full of stuff leave that for last, if not you will get side tracked putting things away.
The average size home 2000 sq ft takes about 3 hrs to clean top to bottom, give or take an hr if you throw in kids and animals.
Good luck, and if all else fails hire a cleaning service :)

Hire a cleaning service, If thats not an option start one room at a time throw out anything you dod not need, then take a laundry basket and put in anything that belongs in another room. When you only have stuff needed for that room then dust wash whatever. One room a day by the end of the week a clean house. now id I can only take my own advise.

One way is a grenade, the other is to get stuck in. put some music on plan each room, and how you want it to look - then GO!! you can have a break after each room is completed. or you can lie my sister and her young boys used to watch Noels house party, during the show noel used to surprise a viewer by suddenly showing them on the telly (their partner had set them up) the poor viewer would suddenly realise they were being watched by millions of people in their own home - anyway one night when the show was just starting and her sitting room was in a mess she told the boys that she had set up their dad but the room was untidy, excited they cleared up the whole room and it didn't take them long, unfortunately when Noel clicked to the surprised viewer there was a complete stranger looking back at them ! I can tell you this trick only works once her boys still haven't forgiven her.

This depends on just how fast you need it done and how much work is involved in cleaning.I mean how bad is the house? you can always look int o hiring someone to do it for you.Or you could ask relatives for help.I myself would choose the room that needs it more and begin there.Give yourself a time line and concentrate on it.Don't allow anything to deter you from your task. Then when this is finished you go on to the next room and continue in the same fashion. Before you realize it you will be finished.Very tired but happy with the results.

Leave it for months and then write to Channel 4 (How Clean Is Your House) and Kim n Aggie will come round and clean it in an afternoon. Hey presto! One clean house, you bearly have to lift a finger and you get to see yourself on TV.
Just a shame your neighbours will think you live in a sh1t hole when it's shown on TV but hey, your house will be 'lemon fresh' so stuff them...

unless you can afford someone to come in and clean, try this. Do one room a day. Nothing else, just one room then on the last day, vacuum everything. (you dont want to drag out the vacuum everyday)

Pay someone else to do it, sit back and have a cup of tea while your house is cleaned by true professionals.
