Your an idiot. We signed a peace of paper years ago saying that we would not torture people. Many countries signed the same piece of paper. We do this for many reasons, but mainly to protect our troops. Do we want others to treat our troops the way we treat them. Their are some grey area's but it is very important that we keep our promises.

I'm not worried about what other country's think, that said torture is UNAMERICAN, it goes against the very moral fiber this country was founded on, now we should care what other country's think on a myriad of issues since we have to have international trade, military agreements like NATO, and if we are the world's lone super power we should act as we would have others act we should be the beacon of light other look to for hope, an inspiration toward an ideal, that was so eloquently stated by the founding fathers, that all men are created equal, with fundamental rights, like LIFE, Liberty, and the pursuit of hapiness

comes down the free market economy and trade. Piss off a couple of key countries because USA decides they are the big dawg and your products might not arrive ever.

Besides: the Genova Convention states torture is banned as are WMDS, and some very very powerful weapons. If we signed it we have to follow it.

Man Fozzie, I about fell out of my chair with your mainstream media comment. what is their agenda??? If they truly had one, Bush would never have been elected and he would be impeached by now. Here is the fact. They report the news , they don't make it up. FOX is the one with the agenda. so much so that they will actually make it up if they feel it necessary.

I don't believe that the majority of America does, but the media portrays that as the truth.

Don't believe 99% of what you see in the mainstream media. They have an agenda.

Liberals are the ones who want equal rights for criminals and terrorists. They have short memories. They don't remember the civilians who were beheaded with a pocket knife while still conscious.
