Step 1: Change the mixed number to an improper fraction
7/10 divided by 7/3
Step 2: Change the division to multiplication
7/10 multiplied by 7/3
Step 3: Flip the second fraction
7/10 multiplied by 3/7
Step 4: Solve by multiplying across (numerator times numerator and then denominator times denominator)
If you can get that far then you're good. But from there you will have to reduce and go from there.

Hi there;
Simplify 2 1/3 by multiply 3 *2 plus 1 to equal 7/3.
Now you have; 7/10 divided by 7/3
Invert the 7/3 to = 3/7 then multiply;
7/10 * 3/7 = 21/70
Simplify 7 goes into 21, 3 times
7 goes into 70, 10 times
Answer is 3/10

(7/10)/(7/3)
Note that I converted from mixed fraction to the above. NOw simply invert and multiply
(7/10)*(3/7)
The sevens cancel each other out (7/7) is 1. That leaves you with the answer 3/10.
