The van will now smell like dead fish until the end of time.
The fish will not be ok for eating, if that was your intention.
You can use the fish in many other ways though. You could hide them in people's houses who you don't like. You could freeze them and use them as weapons, or hide in a tree above a path and drop them upon unsuspecting walkers. You could construct a ten foot high slingshot and fling dead fish all over the place, gosh, the mind boggles at the possibilities. If you don't like your family, you could roll around in a pile of dead fish and then not bathe till after Christmas dinner! Man, I wish I had a vanload of rotting fish to play with! Lucky dog!

No. Fish is one of the fastest decaying foods and should really be eaten on the day of purchase. I would say your fish is only fit for the dustbin - especially as it has started to smell - thats a sure sign that its off!

think about it first
when a fish is first caught there isnt even a hint of a smell of fish
when that sort of smell developes it means the fish is beginning to decompose
if theyve been in your possession for all that time and not frozan bin them what ever else you do!

You have to clean out wherever you are putting the fish. Make sure to wash completely. By time it will smell much better
