not even close. If you actually had a slight memory of past presidents, Bush has no control over the press at all. Nothing is hush hush, not like it used to be.

The media is strongly anti-Bush, anti-Republican, and anti-conservative. The vast majority of people in the media are registered Democrats and many are activists. Exactly how do you think any Republican can manage the media?

Maybe, they don't want military secrets revealed, but during the Cold War, so much was not revealed, that I think any administration during that time managed the media more
