Can this even happen?

That is, you meet the person you had crush on in a coincidence, not voluntary action.

Happens all the time. I love my husband and would hate it if anything bad happened to him but if it did I would track down that one guy from high school.....
But I'm happily married and don't wan t to think about being with anyone else

Very likely....just remember that the characteristics you like at 18 could be totally different from those at 28 and again at 38 and so on...I married my high school crush and after 10 years he left to move on to other "pastures"...not that I am pessimistic at all but it does happen so I thought I would share. My suggestion to all... wait for marriage until you know without a shadow of doubt that you are going to spend your lifetime together through thick and thin. Prayers =)

Very possible! My husband says he fell in love with me when we were 13. We ran into each other at our 20th class reunion-we were both married -then- he called me 5 years ago-while going through a divorce. I was already divorced. We did the long distance thing for 4 years and were married this past April. We are 52 and madly in love! Yes- miracles do happen! Good luck...

well...I married my original crush just out of High School and it lasted less than one year and we divorced. Now...18 years later....I have been contacted by a girl that had a crush on my in school and we are enjoying a wonderful relationship right now! So it can happen.

of course it can happen. My parents shared the same craddle when they were younger because their parents were friends. Then they moved to different states and did not see each other until freshman year in college and they fell in love. They learned that their parents were best friends at the wedding. Now if that is possible, then a highschool crush has to happen every now and then.

It happened to me and my husband. He had a crush on me from 7th grade until 10th grade when we started dating. We got married at age 22 after having been together since high school.

Though we are both married to others, I am still in love with my first love from high school and would be with him again if he would...but he is a loyal husband and father...

I'm sure it could happen....but I think it falls under "if it's meant to be, it will be". I've often wondered this question myself. Long story.
