I just bought a new computer and the speakers are built in the monitor,it did work and now I can't fix it.

Well if it was working and then stopped I don't think installing sound driver is the problem. I would first check the volume controls to make sure it did not get muted or turned down. Also if you are on XP right click the My Computer icon in the start menu and select properties and the click on the hardware tab and select device manager. If there is a real problem with this device it will show up as either a yellow ? or a yellow circle with a ! in it. If you right click and choose properties it will give you the device status and a fix to the problem if there is on. Hope this helps.

there is a sterio wire with audio jack ( common : with green head )
check weather it is placed in your spk output at back panel of your computer ( it is also green : agreen hole )
then check weather it is connected to your monitor input

if all above is right.
reinstall your audio driver ( in motherboard CD )

hmm i think u need to plug a speaker wire in ur cpu

Install sound driver and it will work.
