Cannavaro is noteven the best defender. Before the WC people were only talking about the John terry's n Puyols. No doubt Cannavaro is a fantastic player, a champion indeed, but seeing only the WC is not fair, Cannavaro is not the undisputed best defender however, Henry is the best forward player undisputed, with Eto'o 2nd best. People have a habit of voting for players who always win things n not see those who have been individually brilliant.Remember Henry has taken Arsenal to the UEFA finals n France to the WC finals, both teams wouldnt have reached where they reached without Henry.

Yes Cannavaro did deserve the Ballon d'Or!! He is an amazing defender and was outstanding in trhe world cup. He deserves everything he gets!!!

man he is a bad defender and the game realmadrid played a gainst lyon he made to many fouls and he deserved a red card and i dint se mutch of him in the world cup. I Think Buffon Deserved cause of his good saves.

believe it or not ....Fabio Cannavaro got it ...and he is the best European player and he deserves it...and he will receieve best player of the year award this year and no one will change it
