No. About 3 major corporations own 99% of all the radio stations. There is no choice anymore. It's a sad waste of a wonderful invention. There used to be a variety, not now. It's all the same preprogramed junk. If I ever have one on, it's an oldies station because it's good music. Bands like The Beatles, The Lovin' Spoonful, and stuff like that doesn't exist anymore.
Songs like Elvis Costello's Radio Radio, The Ramones' Rock and Roll Radio, and Nick Lowe's They Called It Rock, really predicted the future.
Thank God I have my CD and Vinyl collection.

I do every day...in the car or in the house.
Our local station is 102.1. It plays pretty good music, like old rock, 70's, 80's, 90's, and now. From Kelly Clarkson to PM Dawn sometimes. I usually turn it off when anything Barry Manilow comes on. :) I can't stand that man!!

Yes. I listen every day to Radio City 96.7FM. Love the banter off the DJ's and always partake in the games and surveys.

radio is better than TV these days - i must admit I'm a bit of a twitcher and go from one to the other
although a lot of stations seem to keep playing the only ten records on their playlist
talk-radio like LBC 97.3 is quite good
and at weekends i find myself tuning to the football because him indoors will only want to converse about it and i can give him some feedback (like I'm interested!)

Radio Three & Four are the only stations worth listening to if you have anything like a brain.
All the rest are for MORONS.

Still with BBC Radio One and delighted I live in a part of Ireland where I can receive it in the car. I like most of them, Moyles, Jo Whiley, Scott Mills are my favourites. But I can't stand Edith Bowman. She gives me the creeps.

Always in my car. Mostly classic rock stations. Like some new stuff too. Will listen to a wide variety, actually.

If it wasn't for the very incontrovertible fact that maximum "family contributors" radio stations have transmitters powered with the help of d cellular batteries, you does not ought to invite this question. If it weren't for internet broadcasting, almost no one in any respect must be acquainted with the format.
