Definitely raise in minimum wage.
Don't ask for an explanation because that is self-evident .

Neither.
Congress doesn't deserve a raise. Their performance has been shabby and not worthy of merit.
The Minimum Wage should be eliminated and all wages should be allowed to rise and fall with the free market. The argument for raising the MW is based on the "poor folks who can't make a living on the minimum wage". It's a bogus argument and fails to mention some serious consequences to raising the MW. First of all the MW isn't meant as a living wage. It's meant to get people into the market place and for them to get some experience. If you want a living wage get a job paying a living wage.
Most union jobs are tied to the MW. So a raise in the MW automatically forces a raise in the union wage. This is where the real pressure to raise the MW comes from. (Although neither the media nor the politicians will say so!) By raising the MW the unions get a free pay raise without having to have earned it. Bad idea!
My question: What do you favor more: Shooting Congressmen wanting raises or shooting Union Slugs who want raises?

OK, since I started my working career, I have seen the minimum
wage go up 525 percent.
In the last ten years, i have worked in no shop whose entry
level;pay was the minimum. In general it is two to three dollars
an hour more, even in the fast food industry.
The only job I know of where there is a lack of equity is
waitress work. They make less then minimum wage. This is
because the IRS has ordered that their tips be part of there
wage. restaurant owners are fined if they do not comply.
Even at that, the minimum should be raised, but I do not
consider it a priority
On the other hand, if raising the congressional pay keeps
them from taking bribes, I am all for that.
Thank you very much, while you're up!!

both have their upside and downside
Congressional pay- less likely to be swayed by lobbyists if they are making more money.. at the same time.. lobbyists can just throw more money at them... and aren't they making enough for not doing jack sh*t as it is?
Minimum wage- have you ever had a minimum wage job? if you have (i did for a little while when i first started working in college) you know you can't live off of it... at the same time.. how many jobs are left out there that don't already pay more than minimum wage and will a raise cause inflation, devaluing the benefit of the increase? hard questions to answer and truly only time will tell.
overall i'd say don't raise either and put the money you save from that into education.. then people will be able to obtain higher paying jobs.

I thoroughly believe you. there is not any justification for not elevating minimum salary. This agrument that small businesses ought to lose out is rediculous. SO!!! this is the cost of doing corporation. Im particular some slave vendors lost businesses after slavery became abolished. If congress couldn't get a pay strengthen until eventually they more advantageous minimum salary no one must be making below $20 an hour.

Neither. They're both useless. Raising minimum wage drives up the cost of everything (goods and services) for everyone. So, someone who is on minimum wage gets a raise, but everything they buy will cost more.

None of the above.
Congress makes way too much money now, but that has nothing to do with the minimum wage. It's like asking, would you rather have a sharp stick in the eye or eat a cupcake?
Setting a minimum wage hurts the poorest citizens. Who makes minimum wage? People who work at grocery stores, gas stations, and discount stores. Where do poor people spend most of their money? Grocery stores, gas stations, and discount stores.
When the minimum wage rises, the price of groceries, gasoline, and other necessities rises. Anyone who can't understand basic economics like that shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I favor none of the above.
Congressmen are not there to make money. A payraise to them is a waste.
The minimum wage is a myth.
If you work at McDonalds you get a raise in the first month...
The minimun wage was never designed to support a person, it was a safety net.
This is all political postureing ...

Congress is paid plenty now.
And the only people "living" on minimum wage are MAYBE high school kids. Heck, go to any fast food joint, they start you at 6.50 to 7.00 an hour.
I really don't even know where you work in this country for minimum wage. Wait tables, maybe... well, then you get tips.
Someone tell me who is working for minimum wage????? I personally can't find any... and I have looked for them.
