I'm a senior this year and every year all the seniors choose and coreograph a solo dance. I've been dancing ballet since I was 5, jazz since 9th grade and tap since 10th. I was thinking of doing a ballet solo, although jazz would also be nice. I still haven't made up my mind about what song to dance to, and was wanting suggestions. It could be an actual classical song, or a song with words. I was thinging of the song "musique des automates", it's from the ballet Coppelia where all the dolls come alive in the dollshop, but that song doesn't really have any intro. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

it depends if you want a classical piece or a more upbeat for ballet.
And would you be doing it on pointe. I did one to James Morrison's 'Wonderful World' And it was really good to make up a dance to.
Jazz is easier to make up dances for but it is up to you.
Maybe you could do something different and link the two types of dancing together?

Check out the Miss America 1995 Heather Whitestone's winning performance - she was amazing - I cannot think of the song title but I am sure you can find it easily!
