i would say this could be a sign of pregnancy when the fertilized egg attaches itself to your uteran walls, it could also me stress or any medications you may be taking. i would take a pregnancy test and treat yourself as if you were pregnant (on the safe side) and get to the gyno.

If you haven't taken a pregnancy test already then do so I've heard that when you do go light like that you could be pregnant. I don't think you have anything to worry about but I would talk to your doctor about it though and also it could just be stress when you are ttc it sometimes puts a lot of stress on you. But just don't let it. I know b/c I'm also ttc and this happened to me last month I was a week late and then finally got my period. GOOD LUCK!!!

sounds like it may have been implantation bleeding.:
What are common reasons for bleeding in the first half of pregnancy?
Since bleeding that occurs in the first half of pregnancy is so common (20-40%), many wonder what the causes are besides some of the complications already mentioned. Bleeding can occur in early pregnancy due to the following factors aside from the above mentioned complications:
Implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding can occur anywhere from 6-12 days after possible conception. Every woman will experience implantation bleeding differently—some will lightly spot for a few hours, others may have some light spotting for a couple days.
Good luck! hope you've got a bean in there! If not now then hope your TTC'ing is quick! How exciting for you both. :) leaving a link to a great site where the above answer was found and I use all the time. HTH

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You probably just had an anovulatory cycle--where no egg was released. It's actually pretty common for women to occassionally have an anovulatory cycle. Also, you say your period comes the 20th every month--not every month is the same length--some 28, 30, and 31 days. You might want to consider tracking your cycles to see exactly how far apart your periods are.

You are probably NOT pregnant. You probably DID have an annovulatory cycle. I agree with the poster who reccomended the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and the website ovusoft.com. You need to start charting your cycles and taking your temperature with a bbt thermometer. (any terms you dont know, you will learn on ovusoft.com). Good luck.
