All of the newspapers I currently subscribe to are E-versions, meaning that I read them online. I think it is much better than using paper. What do you think?

Itis a good idea but not everyone can afford a computer. Yes they can go the lbrary, but you'd have to wait 2 hours just to get on the computer for a half hour.

No. At least not until online versions offer all the functionality that paper versions do - currently they don't.

Of course, with an online newspaper you can't divie it up: Dad takes the "A" section; Mom reads "Business", Kid #1 checks out the comics, Kid #2 skims the "Arts" Section, Grandma reads "Metropolian", Grandpa does the crossword. That's the best part about a newspaper on a lazy weekend morning: everybody with their coffee (or breakfast beverage of choice) enjoying part of a shared paper and sharing with each other interesting things they read.

No I don't think that the newspaper should be on online only because some people don't have online and like to read the newspaper.

Nah, I think ALL newspapers should be available on line - but not exclusively. Take my grandma as a perfect example, she gets her newspaper every morning and loves it. She reads it front to back & she doesn't have the net...I think the same goes for many people of the older generations.

Just my two cents!

Some people dont have internet so its good to still have the good old paper in paper and some people love having them delivered in the morning so they can have a good old read with a cuppa, and some people take them to work with them or to read on public transport and some people even read them on the loo!lol!
So nah i dont think they should be online only!

Xx

We'd probably have to start paying to read the news online, then. And, most people aren't "online," so, that wouldn't be fair to them.

Yes I think they all should be on-line. Right now the papers I have on my homepage don't update daily, which is a hassle.

No, some people don't have a computer and it would take away tradition.
