I have had a cough for about 4 months now.

I have asthma and allergies. I am taking advair, singulair, and rhinocort. I feel like I have a post-nasal drip a lot of the time. I also have acid reflux, for which i am taking protonix.

I do not smoke.

I have had a sinus scan and chest x-ray, with negative results.

Reasons for cough?

Any natural or homeopathic remedies?

go get some Reiki done and see if that helps.... also Cranial Sacral is really good for your nose drip because it actually moves the bones in your head to help oxygen and blood move more freely.... i would also say get some Acupressure done, it will help balance out your Chi and get you feeling better.... Also when i get like that i drink hot green tea with 2 menthol coughdrops and a bit of sugar or honey!!!! the heat will clear your sinuses and the tea and coughdrops will calm your throat!! it works for me every time, i promice :) good luck!!!

You said it yourself, post-nasal drip. It sounds like your allergies are not under control. You should speak to your doctor about trying other medicines. The steroids should be working, but maybe they aren't.
It is most likely not an infection, since most don't last nearly 4 months, and the ones that do would likely be ruled out by your x-rays.
Again, go see your doctor. If they brush you off or you don't like their plan, feel free to go to another one that you like more.

Ive been having a cough lately as well...I dont smoke, I have allergies and im on zyrtec and we heat with wood...depending on where you live it could be dry air and/or allergies. Someone once told me when I had a REALLY bad cough to go out and get some sap from a (its either) a pine or maple tree...roll it into a ball, when its semihard...and then suck on it, itll really work...i promise.

Same exact thing with my friend, constant sore throat with that post nasal drip. Finally her Dr. had her take two plain benadryll (sp?) at night which dried up the mucous while she slept. It relieved the sore throat during daytime. Also, she was taking the same asthma meds that you listed.

you probably have just mucus in your lungs, that is what i am having, and the best thing you can do it just cough it out, and drink ALOT OF WATER. I know it isn't the best drink in the world, but it helps alot. it will make the micus come out. and you will ahve it coming out into your mouth. and make sure that you spit it out . don't swallow it.
