With my second son I only gained 12 pounds and 40 with my first son. Just eat in moderation, exercise (walking) and eat alot of fruits veggies. I ate alot of salads and then had protein in the morning... I also had a little 18 mos. old to chase around and keep me running. Each pregnancy is the same... but you can't not eat just so you wont gain weight. Weight gain and body disfigurment are all natural accurances of pregnancy.

I totally understand. With my first baby I was about 40 lbs lighter when I got pregnant and then after I had him I lost a lot of weight but went on Depo and gained a ton. I could not lose the weight and tried everything. I got pregnant with our second baby and had the same concerns. Well, needless to say I've already gained 48lbs..I feel horrible somedays but after the baby is born we are going to buy an elliptical machine so I can get a good workout at home. I think if you just eat right and get mild exercise a few days a week that will help with the weight gain. Don't eat a lot of things that are high in carbs, eat things high in protein, eat low fat items etc. But eat healthy. Try not to worry about it right now though because your baby needs you to eat and eat right. Wait until after the baby to really work on your body. Best of luck to you.

If you are pregnant, you should not be worried about gaining weight. In order for the baby to be healthy, you need to eat a balanced diet and that would include gaining some weight. Just be careful and don't eat everything in sight. Some women think that because they are pregnant that they can eat whatever they want.

Talk to your doctor about what will be considered a healthy weight gain for you, so you aren't freaked out when you see that number on your scale.
Remember, some of that weight is baby, the extra blood volume in your system, and fluids surrounding and protecting your baby, not "fat".
Focus on being healthy. Eat balanced meals of vegetables, fruit, lean protein, and low fat dairy products. Take your vitamins and drink lots of water.
Try to avoid fatty and fried foods, diet or regular soda, and fast food.
Less salty food will help you retain less water.
Talk to your doctor about whether it is okay to go for daily walks for excercise.
Did you breastfeed your first? I've heard it burns a lot of calories.
Best of luck to you and congratulations!

Walk alot...it is very healthy for you and the baby. Eat foods that are as healthy as you can afford. Dont worry about weight, worry about health. You can gain what may seem like alot of weight to you, but really it is good healthy weight for the baby.

Just don't eat more than you normally would without being pregnant, assuming you normally eat a healthy diet for your metabolism. Eating for 2 is a sure way to gain a ton of weight!

you have to gain a certain amount of weight because your baby will obviously weigh something when he or she is born, not to mention the weight of the amniotic fluid and all of that.
When I was pregnant with my second child I was physically unable to eat anything but fresh uncooked fruits and vegetables with nothing on them. i lost 30 lbs and was back to my prepregnancy weight the day i delivered.

The age of nineteen isn't an beside the point age to be pregnant, in case you experience waiting and mature sufficient, then i'm constructive you'd be an fairly good mom. You look to care about the baby and your husband, and wnt the right ingredient for them both. about the money ingredient and about the land, it is going to be effective, your boyfriend's father will be able to understand, and also you may want to stay there until eventually you discover someplace small and ideal for a tender couple. you want to do this fairly quickly inspite of the actuality that, as a cellular abode isnt appropriate for a infant. yet don't experience compelled, and aproach this frivolously. you may be an excellent mom. wish you apreciate what I truly have stated even inspite of the actuality that i received't recognize aloy.
