Assign these numbers to them:
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0
Multiply each grade by the number of credits for the class. Then add them together.
Divide by the total number of credits. That is your GPA.
If all your classes have the same number of credits, then your GPA is 3.235. You would have a healthy 3.44 if you could get that F turned into a withdrawal.

it depends on how your school calculates gpa. for example if an A was 4.0 a B was 3.0 C was 2.0 and F 0.0 you would do
B B B A B A A B A C A A F A B A B
3+3+3+4+3+4+4+3+4+3+4+4+0+4+3+4+3
=55
since you have 17 grades you divide this total by 17
55/17 = 3.235
remember it depends on your own schools system for turning letter grades into grade points so this is not necesarily your GPA just an example of the method.

depend which GPA Ranking your school is using. Usually GPA's are calculated from 0 to 9. if you get and F its a 0 and D is a 1, c is 2, c+ is 3, b- 4, B is 5, B+ 6, A- is 7, A is 8 and so on and A+ is a 9.
they you att up all the gpa's for the grade you got:
5+5+5+5+5+5+5 for the b's +8+8+8+8+8+8+8 for A's + 3 forc+0 for F= 94 and devide it by the total of your gared 94/17= 5.5

If the classes you categorised have been 3 semester contraptions each and your GPA replaced into calculated on a 4-factor scale of four=A, 3=B, 2=C, a million=D, F = 0 (0), Your GPA could be 9+3+3 skipping over the bypass-fail course. the completed could be 15 divided by using 9 and your GPA could be a million.6. In a letter grade that is D+. to advance that to a C, you may would desire to take a semester long course with 3 semester contraptions and get carry of a B grade. sturdy luck.

Where A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, & F=0 . . .
3+3+3+4+3+4+4+3+4+2+4+4+0+4+3+4+3=55
55 total "grade points" (DIVIDED BY) 17 total grades = 3.24 out of 4.00 possible

Assuming that all the classes are of the same value, an A is worth 4 , B / 3, c / 2, D / 1 F / 0
so 3,3,3,4,3,4,4,3,4,2,4,4,0,4,3,4,3 =54 divided by 17 = 3.176 gpa

You also have to consider the fact that universities calculate their own gpa. Not all of your grades count in their calculation. To callculate your high school gpa, you add everything together like everyone says. Also there are different gpas. Your academic gpa does not count any P.E. classes, but your total gpa does.

did you get numbered grades as well? like 90, 89, 99 etc. because if you did add them all and divide by 17.
if not, then you will need to find out your school's grading system. at many schools 100=A 90=B 80=C 70=D

depends what courses, as if your taking above average courses u get more GPA, but the basic is something like
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0
soo 4.0 is the highest if your in regular classes, and 3.0 is a B average(soo on). SO add all ur letters up by the number scale and divide by by the number of letters you added
im only in highschool, so it may differ
