My coworker told me my boyfriend was acting "camp". Should I be concerned?

hahaha ... camp is besically showing that your gay ... people who arn't gay don't like it because they are homophobes. Don't quote me on that.

Don't be concered though he just means your friend has an obtrusive personnality i.e. someone who talks to much or always buts into a conversation. It's his problem not your friends.

While the etymology is uncertain it seems to be derived from the French "camper"="to pose in an exaggerated fashion". In the pre-Stonewall Gay communities it referred to the majorly over the top gay guys, the drag queens, the really swishy ones, and so forth. It was also used by the straight communities to refer to "extreme or over the top behavior", there was a superhero in the '60s who was advertised as "Dynamo, Man of High Camp", it was not a particularly successful title. The more common usage, as in "boy scout camp" or "camp out" is from the Latin "campus"="field/farm/country" or "rural".

Camp is an over-exaggeration of stereotypes done in a manner to amuse, I wouldn't worry about it at all....

over the top in regards to his homosexuality. Both of you should be very concerned, indeed.
