College is all about time management. It's really hard for some and easy for others.
What helped me was to make a daily schedule blocking out times that I was busy (class, work). Then the empty or "non-busy" times was free for studying. But of course, you must make room for your social life. You'll learn to balance it... hopefully.

Treat your school work like a 9-5 job. Do you assignments and keep up with your reading and studying during the day between classes and enjoy your nights and weekends!
