This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Be patient. You've only been trying this month. Sometimes second pregnancies take a little longer than the first and vice versa. Every pregnancy is different. Give your body some time to flush all the hormones out of your system. Relax and just let nature take it's course. I feel like it's too early to go into panic mode.
When one of my friends got pregnant the first time, it only took her about 2 or 3 months and she was pregnant. Her son is now 2 and she's trying for her 2nd baby. Her and her husband have been trying for a year and a half now. She's about ready to go to a fertility specialist.
I'm not saying that this is going to happen to you, I'm just saying that this pregnancy may take a little more time than the first, but don't be discouraged. It'll happen when it's meant to be.
Good luck!!!

Ok, the pill can cause some decrease in fertility and it is debated that normal fertility returns 1-4 mo. after stopping. I would guess that it is VERY unlikely that you are pregnant now, but you can have light bleeding like a period in the first trimester. My suggestion to you would be to start doing a regiment of taking your temperature and doing ovulation predictor kits in order to maximize your chances of conceiving. It took me about 2 years to get pregnant with my first son, but only 5 mo. with the second using this method. If you can afford to shell out $180 clear-blue easy has a digital fertility monitor that is great! Good luck, and may God bless you with another child!

I was on the pill for 5 years and consieved 3 months after going off of it. Your last period could have been implantation bleeding the timing would be right for that. I don't think taking the pill for 1 month would affect your chances at all. If you had trouble the first time I would talk to your dr. about medication that would up your chances. Good luck!

I've read it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive. The pill shouldn't have affected your abilities. It is possible to have a period, or breakthrough bleeding, during pregnancy, but chances are, you just haven't conceived yet.
Try to relax and not worry about it. Have fun trying!
Also, I've heard that cough syrup (Robitussin) helps thin the cervical mucus to let the little swimmers through. So if you feel a cough coming on...:)
Best of luck to you!

Are you dealing with an RE or a extensive-unfold healthcare expert. If clomid hasn't labored after 3 rounds, commonly, an RE would then propose injectables. I even have study in numerous places that Clomid will become much less powerful each and every around.

Well, hon, it's only been one month! Just because you decide to try to get pregnant doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen immediately. The pill won't affect you getting pregnant once you stop. Just be patient and have fun practicing.

Sounds to me like you need to give your body some time to adjust to being off the pill. Not getting pregnant in one month says nothing about your ability to conceive. Relax, give it a few months, you should be fine.

Yeah, you will need to exercise a little patience here. Birth control pills control your hormones and add hormones. It really throws the female cycle into a crazed state. It should regulate itself in about a month or so, just give it a little time.
