you can't really stop static electricity in your clothes, it's just the nature of certain polymers; they react with your skin, causing friction etc. The fact that they cling to your legs, might have nothing to do with static electricity. you could try making the inside lining softer with fabric conditioner, or, if that doesn't work, you could brush them with a very very very very soft wire brush on the inside to soften them and decrease or even eliminate the reaction with your skin. The trousers only cling because your legs and the trouser linings are both smooth and relatively flat. If you make the trouser lining slightly bumpy somehow, this should stop the clinging. Good luck xx

don't understand in the event that they nonetheless have them yet decrease back in the 70's, the automobile factors shops would sell those conductive rubber straps which you bolted to the backside of your automobile or extra usually the backside of your rear bumper. the assumption exchange into that they might drag on the floor and shelter a discharge course for the static electrical energy. i think of that it exchange into enormously plenty inconclusive as to if or no longer it did something decrease back then and the rubber strips would positioned on down authentic rapid so they does no longer "floor" the automobile for long. If I have been you, i'd carry a conductive steel pen around and touch the automobile with the pen jointly as protecting it firmly, that way the spark is on the tip of the pen jointly as you have a reasonably great habit section with the pen to acquire the can charge, that way, you wouldn't have the sensation of being taken aback. this would be corresponding to how extreme voltage electricians attitude extreme voltage lines from helicopters, they have wands that take the arc until eventually at last they are on a similar skill because of the fact the extreme voltage lines. yet another factor you are able to try is to rub your self and your outfits with a sheet of bounce. Rubbing your lady chum with the sheet of bounce could be a solid date concept. There are anti-static sprays usually bought for computers yet i does no longer use those, it particularly is particularly pond scum, they only enhance vats of bacteria and use that as anti-static spray for the reason that bacteria is conductive. they are meant to kill the bacteria first however the stuff nonetheless smells like pond scum. although misting the section with water would help, humidity makes the air extra conductive subsequently dissipating the static can charge. on the pumps, you are able to positioned the palm of your left hand on the automobile jointly as protecting the nozzle with your impressive hand. That way there should not be a voltage differential between the nozzle and the automobile once you positioned the nozzle into the gas tank. confirm that the steel area of the nozzle is in touch with the steel of the automobile jointly as pumping for the reason that moving gas builds up a can charge. you additionally can save the touch dealing with protecting your palm on the automobile and protecting the nozzle concurrently.

Your home might be too warm and with little to no humidity.
Always use dryer sheets. Pick up a little bottle of static guard for emergencies. Sometimes, I have to rub a dryer sheet aolng the insides of the legs of pants, and even place one on the seat of my car to prevent getting the clingies while you are out.

Moisturize your legs before you put the pants on. Personally, I think polyester should be done away with all together. But if you feel good in them, you go girl!

if you dry them in the dryer, use the fabric softner sheets, also, before putting the pants on, wipe a clean sheet all over the pants legs, inside and have a spare one with you in case you need to freshen it up during the day. when you're going potty, bring a sheet with you and wipe it on the inside of the pants during the day.
